About Me

I'm Miyu Shimabukuro, senior at blue valley west high school. I came here from Japan as an exchange student. I like trying new things. I wanted to see the world which is different from my normal life. That's why I came to America. I have experienced a lot of different culture in here. I wanted to take the class which I can't take in Japan, so I chose Photography 1. Taking pictures with film camera was so much fun. Unlike digital camera, you cannot see your shots until you develop your negative. It always excites me. I really like the process that I make my pictures by myself. Most of the time, my subjects are simple. I like take picture of subjects that are the natural without someone's edit. Enjoy my website!
